I’m a sucker for a good love story. Combine it with a love song and I’m a goner. The Perfect Love Song gives readers just that the perfect combination of a love story with all its twists and turns. The characters are well written and developed. Ms. Henry has delved into this love story and shares all the insights as we watch the Jimmy fall in love and take the steps to decide what’s most important in his life.

Being new to the iPhone world I wanted something to protect my phone. I had looked at some of the other cases but couldn’t find anything that was lady-like but not gawdy appearing. I found exactly what I wanted when I chose the Heart Vest for the iPhone 4. The case is easy to take on and off. It has special holes for the power cord and camera making it so that you don’t have to remove it. The silicone case is light enough that I can place my iPhone in my docking station without having to remove the case. But the best part is with 3 small kids spills happen and sticky fingers abound. I can take the case off of the phone and give it a quick clean with a damp cloth to get rid of the stickiness that the kids have left after playing one of their apps.

I received the Sick and Tired of Being a Busy Mom set. While the names are funny, the products are anything but. Inside my gorgeously wrapped box I found a bottle of bath salts and a wooden scoop for measuring them. There was a silk sleep mask and 2 round tea bags for my eyes. A Cosmo Cocktail bath fizzie was just the thing I needed the night my box arrived. I threw the kids in bed and filled the tub with hot water and dropped the fizzie in. While the tub was filling, I grabbed a cold drink and a book. I was able to put my drink on my “Mommy’s Sippy Cup” coaster that came in my package and settled in for a good soak. When I was done I grabbed my natural pumice stone and made quick work of a callous or two on my heels and then poured myself into bed for a good nights sleep. The only items that came in the box that I haven’t used is a Mommy’s Sippy Cup wine stopper and napkins. I’m saving those for a girl’s night in/out with friends.The next morning I awoke not so cranky, no so tired and feeling like I had had a little me time.

Our Thoughts

I have a huge problem with diaper bags. For the past 5 years I have carried one and for the past 5 years I’ve tried to find one that was stylish and still held all I needed it too. I tried the ones with the cutesy cartoon characters on it. Just not great for me. I tried one that was outrageously expensive because It was supposed to be easier to clean. I tried one that was supposed to have special features that would help organizing. It did but it also didn’t hold up well after time. On Mother’s day this year Steve took me to Macy’s where I purchased a rather nice purse. It was big enough to hold the kids stuff and still be fashionable. The problem was that it only came in white. As you can imagine it now looks horrible because it’s been stepped on, spilled on/in and more.

Enter Amy Michelle Bags. They have some of the most fashionably designed bags ever. The Gladiola is just stunning with its pockets and designer look while also be functional. We received a Broadway Grafitti in chocolate/turquoise. After using the bag for a few weeks I can tell you I can’t find anything I don’t like. The shoulder strap is adjustable so it fits Steve and I with just a quick movement. I can easily pack 10 diapers, wipes, a change of clothes and a few toys and still have room.

Introducing On the Cuff

Our Thoughts

I choose to review this product because when I bath my son I always ends up soaked. I put the sponges on each wrist and started my son’s bath. The sponge absorbs the water and help keep the water from running down your arms. I still ended up wet but for once it was not from the water running down my arms. The cuff dry would make an excellent Christmas gift for people that are into car detailing or even dog groomers.

Our Thoughts

Doing the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure® was a hard event for me. EFX sent me one of their silicone sport wristbands for breast cancer awareness. The first thing I did when the wristband arrived was to try out one of the tests. Without the wristband I followed the directions to stand feet shoulder length apart in a “T” shape. Steve then pushed down to see how hard/fast he could get me to topple. We then repeated the steps while wearing the wristband. I have to say I was surprised that it worked so quickly. Steve was still able to topple me but it took longer and he had to use more effort. While on the walk I did have some issues with the wristband being tight. You may want to think about the sizing when you order. EFX does offer a medium and a large making a better fit. As we were walking extreme lengths our entire bodies swelled some especially our feet/ankles, wrists and hands. After doing several training walks without the wristband and then several walks with the wristband, I did feel more energized and able to keep moving.

Recently, I received a RoboForm2Go USB to review.

As an older, non “geek” type of person I was a little overwhelmed at first.

It simply plugged into my computer and a screen popped up asking for all kinds of information.  My first thought, was to immediately unplugged because I didn’t want to fill out all of the information on the internet.

I talked with my daughter who is an “internet guru” who explained that it would not be saved anywhere but on the USB port and would only fill in where I wanted it to.  Wow, I thought it would have been great if I could simply save my logons and passwords!  My memory just isn’t what it used to be!  Between work and home, I was getting them confused.  Every month I had to call the mortgage company to reset my password because I couldn’t remember it.

The RoboForm2Go USB not only puts an end to that, but does so much more.  Now if I am at work and need to talk with the mortgage company, I simply plug in my RoboForm2Go USB and look up the phone number, account number and any other information that I might need.

The other good point is that my husband doesn’t pay the bills.  I do online.  Now if something should happen and I couldn’t log on to pay a bill, he can take care of it by plugging in the RoboForm2Go USB and getting all the information he should need.

Great invention for us older people and it would make a great Christmas gift.  It puts everything in one place.

Our Thoughts

I chose to review this product because I have a disabled child that is still in diapers. It never fails that when I am out and about that when he needs to be changed I can never find something to put under him to change him. The dippie to go is great. I like the fact that it comes with Velcro so I was able to secure it to the inside of my van so I always know right  where it  is when I need it. It has nice pockets in it to store wipes and a couple of diapers. It is also nice because for short trips out I can toss it in my purse or back bag. I would highly recommend this as a baby shower gift for any expediting mom.  The only thing that I would change is I would like to see it a little longer in length only because my son is so long due to age but for a regular size infant it is ideal.

Our Thoughts

This candle is marketed as an odor eliminator. The manufacture claims that it will eliminate strong odors such as those in the kitchen that are created while cooking. I must admit that when I first took this candle out of the box my first thought was yuck and initially didn’t like the smell of it. However, after I had it out of the box for a short while I was actually kind of fond of the smell of the candle. In my house we have one room that is more of a store room then anything with someone occasionally sleeping in the room and because it stays closed up it gets that stale air smell to it. I decided that even though the candle was marketed to handle strong kitchen odors that if it could handle the stale air in the bedroom then it could handle anything. I simply placed the candle (unlit at first) on the nightstand in the room and shut the door. A couple of hours later I went back and opened the bedroom door and was hit by a wonderful smell. It was a very nice clean smell. I did try lighting the candle and the smell left in the room was even more wonderful.  I now leave the candle sitting on the night stand as a decoration in the room and now it smells wonderfully all of the time.

I originally choose to review this candle because I love candles and they are one of my favorite things to decorate with.

I am the mom to two special needs boys and have a busy hobby riding as a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician. I am always looking for quick easy fixes for dinner. In my house we get tired of the same old hot dogs and hamburgers. This cookbook has been a huge help. It is backed with wonderful easy recipes. All of the recipes are quick, easy, and crowd pleasers. We have tried most of the recipes and have loved them all so much that it impossible to pick which one was our families’ favorite. This is a must have for every busy mom or dad out there!
